For many people, Milia Beach is the most beautiful beach of Skopelos island. The beach has small pebbles and transparent turquoise waters, it is organized and ideal for one to spend the whole day there. Milia beach is one of the largest and straight ones in Skopelos, surrounded by an immense number of pine trees reaching up to the sea. The shore is divided in half by a rock, with the left side attracting more people while the right one is quieter. The beach is just one kilometer away from Panormos and about 14 km away from Skopelos Town (Chora).

Stafilos Beach owes its name to the legendary prince Stafilos, son of the god Dionysus and gorgeous Ariadne, daughter of the mythical king of Knossos, Minoas. Prince Stafilos settled in Skopelos island and chose this specific area where the beach is located nowadays, aiming to establish a city in 1600 B.C. At the beach, there is a beach bar where you can find water, coffee, drinks and snacks.
